Meet Cady!
Cady, age 17, lives in
Ithaca, NY
She is a Senior Girl Scout and earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award in 2007. Cady excels at leadership! She's in charge of Rock the Arts, a youth run arts and music festival held in Ithaca each spring. She was Ithaca High School's pick for Empire Girls' State and the Gillette Foundation's choice for the leadership program: Foundation for Teaching Economics.
Role Model
Her mom. Her common sense approach to life as well as her generosity towards others taught Cady a lot.
Favorite Girl Scout Activity?
The travel! Her leaders have taken the girls around the country and Quebec for activities she would not have had on her own.
Future Goals
She works on a college scholarship each week to earn enough to pay for college where she wants to study fashion design.
