Alumnae

Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout
Since 1912, millions of women have had their lives positively influenced—sometimes even transformed—by their Girl Scout experience. Whether you are one of the 50 million women who were Girl Scouts, including Brownie Scouts, or you were a volunteer or staff member who worked at the national or local level to help Girl Scouts reach their full potential, you are forever connected to a rich and vibrant movement.

Girl members come from all racial/ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. They are today's leaders in science, sports, government, and business. Chances are you still savor your own Girl Scout experience: the friendships, the skills, and the adventures.

We Celebrating our 97th Anniversary on March 12, 2009! So, now it's time to reconnect. We need former Girl Scout leaders, members, trainers, and board, committee, and staff members to build their connection with our Girl Scout program and constituencies. Alumnae can help "grow the organization," and share their experience, commitment, talent, time, and financial support. You can be vital builders of the future.

Call us to learn how you can be involved for a day, a week, or a year, mentor a girl, conduct a career seminar in your area of expertise, create a special opportunity to bring girls together.

Girl Scout alumnae belong to one of the largest, and potentially most powerful, networks of women nationally and worldwide. Strengthen the alumnae connection by volunteering and offering other support. Today's Girl Scouts need you! It's time to reconnect. Contact the Membership Services Director.
